No One Succeeds Without Efforts and Persistence

No One Succeeds Without Efforts and Persistence
Text
for Today: I Peter. 4:12-17 “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning
the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange things
happen to you.” (vs.12).
I
may not be there yet, but I am closer than I was yesterday, was what I
told a young minister who felt frustrated at the spate of things in his
ministry. Beloved, great difficulties can be surmounted by patience and
perseverance. Everyone you see at the top of the ladder today has gone
through some stuff yesterday. Whatever breakthrough that comes from God
must pass through a process. It takes fire to purify gold, and when God
gets ready to refine us, He uses fiery trials. Nothing brings luster to
your character and commitment to your heart like challenges of life. If
you see a man/woman whose life reflects the character of Christ, you are
looking at somebody who has been through the refining fire of the Lord.
Don’t be discouraged, it is often the last key in the bunch that opens
the lock. Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop
fighting. The key to success is action, and the essential ingredient in
action is perseverance. Mostly, we spend our time talking about what we
want from God, when the real issue is what He wants from us and what He
will do to get it. The Bible says in Mathew 3:12; He will place
everything in its proper place, everything false, He will throw out with
trash and burn”. Perhaps that will help you to understand better some
of the things that are happening in your life at the moment. If you can
push through, you will enjoy through. Perseverance is not a long race;
often it is many short races one after the other.
You are a champion!
Covenant Prayers

1. Father, I thank you for always being on my side.
2. I receive grace to go through the process that leads to my throne.
3. Every spirit of complacency, leave my life alone.
4. Oh Lord, let your purpose be made manifest in my life.
